Train in the best possible way during the independent training phase
Power and speed for the independent training phase
During the 8-week independent training phase, it’s a great opportunity to get ahead of the competition. During this period, the focus is on improving the speed of force production, which is a key physical quality in many hockey-specific skills such as skating, shooting, and battling for the puck.
This training program is designed for players who already have experience with strength training.

Power
For a hockey player, strength is a significant factor. Strength is important in battles, skating and shooting. You want to be the player in the corners and in front of the goal who is difficult to move and who is difficult to take the puck away from.
In this training program, maximum strength and speed strength are developed. After the practice period, you are a stronger player who skates and shoots harder.

Speed
Fast players stand out. You want to be the player who gets to the loose pucks first. You also want to get through often and score more goals. Shooting is also about speed. It is difficult for the goalkeeper and opponents to react to quick shots.
After this training program you will be faster than before. It will be difficult for opponents to defend you thanks to your increased speed. The training program focuses specifically on skating speed and that you skate harder and faster.
